Press Release 06/14/2011

June 9th's Village of Tequesta Council Meeting paved the way for an immediate expansion of the physical building to provide additional space for vital student resources, such as a dedicated science lab and art studio.

Good Shepherd Episcopal School draws students not just for their strong academics but also for their sense of family values.  In front of a crowded room at last night’s Council Meeting, the Head of School, Mrs. Christine Vanderwesthuizen described her School as a “small and nurturing place – where everyone knows your name.”

In today’s economic environment, some schools are struggling to remain competitive.  However Good Shepherd is determined to stay ahead of the curve.  “We already have a huge investment in new technology, from the newest on-line programs to Smartboards in every room.  But to attract top-notch students, we must provide top-notch resources,” said Heather Vaughn, Director of Admissions.
