Learning to Love, Loving to Learn
Good Shepherd School offers a curriculum rich in opportunities for all students. The program assures that students are challenged and supported while building strong skills, gaining valuable knowledge and developing substantial values. All aspects of the curriculum are intended to provide a "hands-on" learning experience and to develop analytical, critical thinking, and creative skills.
Students are presented with a range of experiences across the core academic program. Development of the whole child is fostered when students are presented with this diversity of subjects. The core curriculum includes: language arts, mathematics, science, social studies/history, Spanish, visual arts, music, physical education, library literacy, and technology. All curriculums are reviewed through an ongoing process which assures alignment with, and often exceeds, state and national standards.
