Private School Jupiter

Kindergarten

Handling responsibility with confidence, developing positive social interactions, and becoming problem solvers are key components to the kindergarten program. Many activities are provided that allow the Kindergarten child to practice these skills. Individual and group instruction is emphasized in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, Christian education, and Spanish. Our Kindergarten students transition to other classrooms for physical education, visual arts, music instruction, technology, and library. Each child experiences a hands-on learning environment that promotes academic, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual growth.

Grades 1-5

The Elementary School engages children in learning through a developmentally appropriate core curriculum. The program is rich in opportunities to develop analytical skills, critical thinking skills, and creative skills. The teachers create a child-centered environment that stimulates the students' academic interests and supports children as they develop independence and resilience. The curriculum encompasses language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, religion, technology, visual arts, Spanish, music, library literacy, and physical education.

The Elementary School children are valued, nurtured, and challenged, both academically and personally, through carefully planned opportunities that stimulate growth. They are thoughtfully transitioned from grade to grade, building upon their skills as academic, interpersonal, and organizational expectations are increased.
